If you have one Google Ads account and you have multiple websites should you have separate campaigns for every website inside your existing Google Ads account? We already know that Google doesn’t allow multiple domains in an ad group, but you can have one separate domain for each ad group in a campaign if you want to.
I thought that one Google Ads was good enough, I made a new ad group in an existing campaign with a few ads leading to my new website, but then when I needed to link Google Analytics to Google Ads. That was the moment when I started to have serious doubts about my decision… the reporting could potentially be a disaster since I had to link multiple Google Analytics properties to a single Google Ads account.
I decided to contact Google regarding this matter and I got this reply:
“If you have different companies or different websites our recommendation is to create different Google Ads accounts.”
