When you find yourself surrounded and even threatened by many stupid people, you can’t call them “stupid” unless you’re dumb or actually want to be beaten. A good way to call someone “stupid” without actually saying the word is to use the words of Cristian Tudor Popescu: tell him/her that they are “asymptomatic intelligent people”. Most of them don’t know what “asymptomatic” means and they won’t care as long as they hear the word “intelligent” which boosts their ego next to it, while those who manage to understand and process what you told them will struggle a lot to come up quickly with a smart reply. 😉
